„Doesn’t all your stuff tumble down when you’re driving?“ Many people have asked us that by now, so here is the answer to anyone who might still be wondering this: No, everything stays where it should!
Our stuff can’t slide around, because we have placed non slip rubber sheets on the shelves and tabletops. Furthermore we built each shelf with a high enough edge to keep everything in place. For the tiny shelf above the sink, we added some 3m Velcro to keep the soap container secured, and even though we were in doubt it would work, it has proven to endure the bumpy and winding roads of the Bavarian Alps.
Our biggest highlight from the first couple of weeks were staying at this spot and witnessing the air full of fireflies at night. Absolutely magical, since we have only encountered one or two before. We have also done a little bit of hiking, running and lounging in the hammock. When it's too hot we are finding public swimming pools to cool off, which has been easy since there are so many here! We will make our way to the Black Forrest next.
